Car Rentals In Miami - Puerto Rico -- Mexican Food With Pleasure el Charro in San Juan,

Too, and it immediately became our favorite, she took us to her favorite. So we asked a friend if she new of any good Mexican restaurants in the area, one of our favorite cuisines is Mexican. We quickly needed places to eat that would remind me of home, puerto Rico, being new to the city of San Juan.

Probably hand-made, almost wicker-like design, the tables are a woven. Including the required sombrero, bright colors are splashed on walls where odd artifacts of Mexican heritage hang. The decor is simple but fun. Where they also hold concerts and special parties, though, there is additional seating downstairs. With six tables and a small counter area, the restaurant is fairly small upstairs, inside. But there always seems to be plenty of it, parking is only available on the street. Sits quietly at the end of a busy yet narrow street in a working-class part of town, in the Puerta de Tierra neighborhood of San Juan, el Charro.

Prices are all very reasonable (if you don't have too many margaritas). Subtle hints of tequila in a creamy flan, try the Flan de Tequila; if you still have room after that. Tripleta Tacos are hand-fried corn tortillas filled with only the meat filling. The burrito is then covered with a large portion of melted cheese and some decorative chips. And cilantro, onions, tomato, ) along with lettuce. ! Which combines chicken and steak and bacon (healthy, our favorite entree is the Tripleta Burrito! And avocado, cheese, cilantro, onions, which is tomatoes, or Pico De Gallo, which is melted cheese and chorizo sausage bits, we like to get Queso Fundido con Chorizo, for appetizer. Both of which are very good, you start with the standard chips and salsa. And other standards, enchiladas, burritos, with tacos, the food is typical Mexican fare. And after a meal, during, they are easy to drink before, made with fresh lime juice and good tequila. The margaritas are the best we've tasted in a very long time. But the food and drink is why we end up there almost once a week.

Puerto Rican musicians Descarga sat outside and played wonderful music while guests enjoyed great food and wonderful drinks. The owners of El Charro just recently celebrated their 5 year anniversary with an evening-long party opened to everyone.

El Charro is one of those great restaurants, and based on the number of return diners (it seems like the owner knows everyone that walks in the door). The locals of San Juan know a great restaurant when they find one. Even in the middle of the afternoon there are usually two tables occupied. But during lunch and dinner it is almost always full, el Charro is not located in an area frequented by tourists in San Juan.

Shop around 1.

This keeps the prices low and means that there are a lot of different options being offered The Caribbean is one of the most popular and affordable places to go on a cruise which means that there are lots of cruise lines out there competing for your dollar. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't shop around, you could probably choose any random cruise and have fun, as mentioned above.

Music and more, rodeos, traditional foods, it runs for about five days at the end of April or the beginning of May and it features fairs. Ask an expert 2.

But it will certainly give you a lot of good ideas, this does not necessarily mean that you have to book through them. They will go on and on about options that might be right for you, if you talk to a travel agent and express to them what you are looking for. And check out multiple travel sites, e-mail different cruise lines, call a travel agent. But it can't hurt to ask an expert, you should still do as much research on your own as you have time for.

Or that the break at Apple Bay can hold a swell a lot longer than Cane Garden, but an expert might give you a tip that Cane Garden Bay is one of the hottest surfing spots. You could just show up there and enjoy one of their white sand beaches, sure. But that is one of the stops on a seven-night cruise by Norwegian Cruise Lines, odds are you have never heard of the small eastern Caribbean island of Tortola. The best thing about talking to someone in the industry is that they know all the little details.

If you are primarily interested in seeing the sights on land then you might not need to book a room on a luxury liner. Another thing to think about is what you want your boat to offer.

What do you want to do at the ports? 7.

Others want to avoid the tourists and hit an obscure cultural destination. Some people like to spend their time at ports shopping for souvenirs.
